Position: Parks/Street Operator
The primary function of an employee in this class is to perform entry-level or semi-skilled installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair work on the City Streets and Parks System. This position regularly performs tasks wherever needed to maintain effective and efficient facilities and operations. The work is performed under the direct supervision of the Public Works Superintendent and may have general supervision by full-time staff. The principal duties of this class are performed in an outdoor environment which may include working in adverse weather conditions and hazards involving the use of vehicles, power tools and other various equipment.
